How to build units, teams and users?

To get the app up and running right away, here’s a list of what you should do right away. You can follow the steps below.

Create a Unit



Create a new Unit selecting Manage teams and agents and New business unit from the left navigation bar.

Create a name for the Unit, for example Sales, Customer Service, etc.

Select a unit supervisor for the Unit. You can select yourself from the drop-down menu or create a different unit leader by clicking the Create a new unit leader link. If the Unit has clearly a different leader than you, you should create logins to that person. When you create the login, the new user will receive an email with a welcome message and a link to create a password to the app and sign in.

Choose a coach for the Unit if needed. You can do this in later stage as well.

Save the Unit.

Unit is now created. If you created new unit supervisors, you can let them continue from here. Unit supervisor can create teams and team leaders in their unit. If you are also the unit leader, you can continue to create your first team.



Create a Team



Create a new Team through this link: https://cloud.qualitydesk.com/team/new

Choose a Unit for the new Team.

Create a name for the Team.

Choose a team leader for the team. You can select yourself from the drop-down menu or create a different Team leader by clicking on the Create a new team leader link. If the Team has clearly a different leader than you, you should create logins to that person. When you create the login, the new user will receive an email with a welcome message and a link to create a password to the app and sign in.
If the team leader is the same as the unit leader you created, save the team without the team leader and go to User management page. From there you can find the Unit supervisor and edit his/hers profile..
the unit leader to add team leader rights from the "User Management" page: https://cloud.qualitydesk.com/users. Click on the "Edit" link in front of the user and select "Roles" under the heading Team Leader and Tick Role. Then click the arrow next to the word Team Leader and select the team you created.
Set a target to the amount of evaluations and coachings.

Then Save the team.

Team is now created. If you did create a new team leader, you can let him continue from here. Team leaders can create agents to their own team.



Create an Agent



Create a new Team through this link: https://cloud.qualitydesk.com/agent/new

Choose team for the agent.

Write down agent name and email address. If the agent doesn't have an email, they can't log in to QualityDesk. But you can create the agent without email address.

Press "save" and you will be redirected to agent profile and the development view.

If you want to create the login for the agent later, you can at any time click "edit" under agent profile picture. And add the email address. Under edit you will find the option to send the logins to the agent "Create and send logins to agent". Agent will get an email to set password and will be able to login in to QualityDesk to see his/her information and development.

Now units, teams and agents are in order and we can focus on monitoring and coaching forms which can be accessed here:
